Schedule Changes

Good morning everyone! Hope you've had a great week. Hannah, Cass, Rebecca, Kathy and I had a great time on Monday afternoon at Colt, if it was a bit crowded with other folks.
I'm going to make a couple of changes to the schedule, as my plans for the spring changed just a bit...have to get to DC to find a place to live! Below is the new schedule
  • Saturday, 6/5, 6-730pm, Goddard State Park - running on some nice, open and easy trails; there's also a beach - bring a swimsuit!
  • Monday, 6/7, 630-730pm, Hope HS - CANCELLED
  • Sunday, 6/13, 12-130pm, Group Run on Blackstone Blvd, from Lippitt Park
  • Monday, 6/21, 630-730pm, Hope HS (moved from Colt)
  • Saturday, 6/26, 8-9am, Hope HS
  • Monday, 6/28, 6-7pm, Hope HS
  • Wednesday, 6/30, 6-8pm, Colt State Park (the race!!!)
If you have any questions about the schedule, please ask! I hope this will work for everyone.
Be well,
Michael

  4. I hope the run was fun. While you all were meeting I was on the other side of the bay at Colt State Park all set to with my OFF spray to run on the grass and my wet suit to swim.

  6. Rebecca thanks for pointing out what was right and not the fact I was 48 minutes away from where I should have been. My husband mentioned I was only about 3 miles off by water... LOL. Did you guys have fun? Work hard?

I have been working on my letting my hips move and keeping shoulders stable
    1. having a wicked hard time letting them go without the shoulders following
    2. when I do my legs change position in a way I don't think they should so next time we meet I am going to ask Micheal to review.

I did some exercises from swimming for that very thing and still had problems even with my arms against the wall. Hold on to the edge of the pool with hands over the topside and forearms and elbows on the wall with water and rotate hips and legs(out behind) keeping shoulders still. My shoulders still want to move & I have to hold really hard for them not to even with them stablized.

    Core strength stuff maybe?
